The App requires access to the following device features to function:
Purpose: To capture videos through the app.
AppUsage: Only accessed when actively using the camera feature within the app.
AppStorage: Camera feed and capture data (video + microphone) are not stored unless the user explicitly grants the app to do so by toggling the record button to a "on" / "recording" / "rec" state.
Purpose: To record audio during video capture
Usage: Only accessed during video recording
Storage: Audio is only stored as part of video recordings initiated by the user
Purpose: To save captured photos and videos to your device's gallery
Usage: Only accessed when saving media files
Storage: Media files are saved locally to your device's photo library
All video clips and associated thumbnails are stored locally on your deviceTemporary cache files are created and managed by the App.
No data is transmitted to external servers or cloud storage.
We use the permissions and features outlined above solely for the following purposes:
- To provide core App functionality (camera capture and video recording)
- To save your recordings to your device's photo library
- To manage temporary files needed for App operation
InstaCapture does not:
- Collect personal information
- Share any user data with third parties
- Upload or store any content on external servers
- Use analytics or tracking services
- Display advertisements
